Copenhagen School of Design Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, KEA, offers Professional Bachelor's Degree Programmes and Academy Profession (AP) Degree Programmes within the fields of Design and Business, Media and IT, Building and Production. Around 2,500 full time students are enrolled at the school. Approximately 700 of these are international students, coming from 60 different nations. Copenhagen School of Design and Technology puts emphasis on a practical approach combined with the latest theory. This goal is achieved by designing projects that closely imitate what is happening in the profession. A part of each programme is a period of work placement, which gives both an opportunity to learn more about the professions and a platform for networking. All our programmes are subject to internal quality assurance procedures as well as external evaluations at national and international level to secure the academic standards. The Danish Ministry of Education approves all programmes and covers tuition fee for students from the EU countries. The Professional Bachelor's degree is awarded after 3 - 4 years of study (180-240 ECTS). The programmes provide all students with a solid theoretical knowledge and understanding of how to apply theory to professional practice. AP Programmes provide students with analytical and professional skills and combine theory and practical application relevant for employment in business and industry. An AP Degree is awarded after 2-2½ years of study (120-150 ECTS) Professional Bachelor's degree programmes and AP Programmes qualify graduates for further studies at university level. |
