State Education Development Agency

The State Education Development Agency Career Guidance Department (CGD) fosters the development of the career guidance system.

The CGD:

•  Represents the EC Career information network Euroguidance in Latvia ;

•  Gathers and disseminates information on career guidance systems, methods and tools for practitioners and policy makers in Latvia ;

•  Compiles and publishes information on education opportunities in Latvia and Europe in Latvian and English (website, databases, publications):

•  Raises awareness of mobility as a learning and career development opportunity in cooperation with institutions promoting mobility within the EU.
