The University of Paisley and Bell College merged in August 2007, creating Scotland 's largest modern University with over 18,000 students. The University has campuses in Ayr, Dumfries, Hamilton and Paisley serving the West of Scotland and a planned investment programme of over ? 160million will see major benefits for all of the campuses.
