The University of Essex is one of the UK's leading research universities. It offers a wide range of degree programmes encompassing the arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences, law and management. Around 7,500 students study at the University's main campus in Colchester, and we offer entrepreneurship at our campus in Southend and acting and theatre at the East 15 Acting School in Loughton. Studying for an undergraduate degree at Essex takes 3 to 4 years and students are guaranteed accommodation in or around campus in their first year of study.
